It has been discovered that 50% of heart and blood pressure patients, together with the majority of unexplained heart attacks and 70% of all sudden child deaths are caused by pulmonary hypertension.

Patients and doctors often do not have the correct information about pulmonary hypertension. We want to pass on our knowledge to these patients and doctors and do something with them against pulmonary hypertension. Children or adults, it concerns us all!

The "Austrian pulmonary hypertension self-help association" has the following aims:

• Carrying out educational work
• Planning joint activities with patients
• Creating psychological consultation options
• Setting up central information points
• Providing comprehensive information for patients and relatives
• Promoting research projects

To achieve these aims, we need financial support. We therefore organise sponsors who support us.
